Het Verhaal van Het Verhaal
I had the honor of designing the stop-motion DIY film package for Het Verhaal van Het Verhaal, the new family performance by Het Zuidelijk Toneel and Theater Artemis, directed by Jetse Batelaan. Mick (10) and David (11) helped with the design by trying out making stopmotion animations. The stop-motion film package was used in schools as educational material for workshops. Children animate their own stories with the cut-out figures and shapes; wonderful films with talking cubes, celebrities and sometimes a common thread.
